This short text is shared with every new team member and contractor to speed up onboarding.

  1. Anyone can send messages anytime, including holidays, weekends, and nights. However, attention from colleagues is not expected until their regular business days and hours. Remember that the team is spread over several countries and time zones.
  2. React right away when you see a task—use “eyes” 👀 On Slack, reply OK, change the status on ClickUp, or use any visible way to let others know you are aware. If you are introduced to someone, reply with a greeting right after the introduction to maintain effective communication.
  3. After calls, provide a summary of decisions made via Slack message to ensure everyone is on the same page. The summary should be a quick one-minute read, listing tasks and decisions from the call.
  4. Schedule enough time immediately after our call to write and send a summary and take steps to move forward with the action points on your plate.
  5. General communication is through Slack.
  6. Task-specific comments and progress reports are included in the relevant tasks on ClickUp.
  7. If only the deadline date is specified, the time is 9 a.m. EST (Miami time)
  8. Please never miss promised deadlines in silence. Things happen. It’s life. Just communicate accordingly and move on.
  9. Projects, clients, and tasks are confidential. Please do not disclose any work-related information outside your colleagues’ circle.
  10. If you are on hourly pay, please log your hours on the same day you spent time doing the job. It helps me to track expenses in connection with the results.

Welcome, and good luck!
